Help...anybody know this info!!

I was looking at Equibase to check on a horse result. At Hoosier Park last night they had race 11 going off at 10:23pm. Are these times all based on EST or the tracks local time??? I got a ticket graded a loss based on this...lol At DRF.COM they clearly state that all off time are local unless clearly stated and they had the same off time as Equibase.

Also...one more question. Kind of new to horses and was wondering about payouts?? I see th payouts are based on a $2 wager but if I bet $100 on a horse to show and it pays $2.10 do I get $105 or my original $100 AND the $105??? Been betting on sports too long and not familiar with this at all.

Any help is appreciated.

The off time listed on Equibase and DRF are the local times at the actual track.

It was LATE and I was bored...lol

They have it graded as a past post because I placed the wager at 10:32 EST and Equibase says the race went off at 10:23...but that is the tracks local time...CST??? I can't get them to understand this....DRF has the same thing....I got this off DRF and sent it to them and still have not heard anything...lol

and they have it going off at 10:23...so that means 11:23 EST right??

I don't want to name the book because they are a GOOD book and this is just a misunderstanding that I need to get worked out...not big money but I am right...I think???

Yes, 11:23 EST.

I was joking about the bet at Hoosier. It was coincidentally mentioned in this thread on the other forum.
